Hey guys! I know I am late but better late than never right? August was hectic for me.With tons of assignments and exams waiting for me every week, I had almost no rest time. That’s why it has become so difficult for me to post regularly.
Anyhow, I hope you guys enjoy reading about my favorite products.❤
I actually did a mini-makeup haul last month. Please check it out if you haven’t already.
Okay.. let’s begin! Shall we?
Becca x Jaclyn Hills Champagne Collection Face Palette
Okay… *Take a deep breath* I can’t rave about this enough. The highlighters give you the most intense glow you will ever ask for. The shade Champagne Pop is just so stunning! You guys believe the hype. The shade Rosé Spritz is so pretty too! It’s like a shimmery peachy blush with gold iridescence. The formula of all of these blushes and highlighters are amazing. It definitely worth the splurge! I’ve actually done a full review about it. You can check it out for more information.
The Balm Instain Blush in Houndstooth
Like I said in my makeup haul, this has become my current go-to blush. I am not going to lie, it does feel a bit dry and not creamy but I can forgive it as it has a very great staying power and this mauvy pinky nude shade is just spectacular! I’ve been using this and Rosé Spritz from Becca Face Palette interchangeably every single day.
BH Cosmetics Color Lock Lipstick in Loyal
Argh! I love this lipstick so much. I don’t know why no one talks about it. And yes it is bit drying which is normal for matte lipsticks but it definitely is not as drying as Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Colors. Also, I am so impressed with its staying power. So I highly recommend you guys to check it out. This is my first purchase from BH cosmetics and I am impressed with their brand. I guess I will be trying more in the future.
Tony Moly Spoiler Lip Tint
The formula of this is amazing! I would say it has a semi-matte finish and it is really comfortable on the lips. It also has a really strong pigmentation, glides on easily and smoothly and doesn’t accentuates any lines or cracks.
Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
It’s rainy season here and humidity is so high. So, for daytime, I want a something light on my skin. So, I actually skip lotion and use this instead. It gives enough hydration to my skin and make my skin feel really fresh, cool and hydrated. If you are a korean skin care junkie like me, you probably already own this or at least heard about this product as it is so popular in Asia.
Etude House Big Cover Concealer Tip
You guys have no idea of how I am obsessed with this concealer. It’s so full coverage. It glides on so smoothly. It covers every flaws you may have. I love using it as both as under eye concealer and spot concealer. It’s probably the most full-coverage concealer that I have tried from the drugstore brands. It’s so much better than the Maybelline Clear Smooth Mineral Concealer that I love. It retails around $7 so it’s so affordable too! The only con would be that it is quite thick so if you have really dry under eyes, it might look too cakey and accentuates wrinkles (if you have them). My under eyes are quite dry but it works fine on me. Another thing to keep in mind is that it does cling onto my dry patches. So I wouldn’t recommend this concealer if you have a dry skin. Regardless, I have combo-oily skin and I love it! I might do a full review so stay tune for that.
Also, if you want me to do in-depth reviews on any of the products mentioned, please do let me know. I will be happy to do them for you.
